@mypiju You don't prefer to cache ssl because that is most the time for authentication and dynamic secured forms. If you cache that you can get in trouble (specially with security issues). That is some hard to do and not neccesary because you can decrease security and increase problems in clients (dynamic content like passwords or reports or views become static).

Nope, you won't be caching SSL -- it's encrypted... you just can't do it unless you break the certificate by crafting your own and dissecting the traffic and encrypting it again. Don't think you want to do that.

@mypiju cache ssl is abit dangerus as if someone on your server/pc and they access the c:\ drive they can get the ssl from what you cached

squid is definitely cool stuff , i finally got it to cache youtube cool stuff but im still having problems getting it to work with ssl
