Last night in Jersey City, NJ, the Loews Landmark Theater showed the classic silent film SAFETY LAST (starring Harold Lloyd) with live music by the late and GREAT organist Ralph Ringstad Jr. playing the Wonder Morton.
Ralph's playing really made us all feel like we went back in time to the 1920s when this film originally came out.
He was terrifically talented, and his music will be missed by all.

For those that never seen a silent movie you must see it in the lowe's jersey city! It will astound you when they play a movie with this organ it will thrill you and you will also find that you are part in the movie it is like no other feeling you can have ! All the thrills and all the good feelings are transmitted to the audience through the organ it's a great medium to encounter.

Beginning at 1:10, it is all to rare and wonderful a thing!!! It gives me great joy! The "flickers" and the organ -- magic!!
