Click the link below for better paint to use. Do NOT use Krylon fusion paint. This video was recorded just after painting. A few days later the paint chipped/rubbed off.

  • He didnt clear coat it and he painted the battery cavity which makes the pack stick, terrible job

  • @jkilson i would never use that battery pack in my controller, was just for looks. always have used rechargables.

  • @BamaNation1996 nope, I don't like the way clear coat feels on a controller. I dunno why...just gets a bit too tacky.

  • Did you paint the area inside the batteries cavity?

  • @VideoAddict31 Yeah, the controllers are apart when you pain them so that section is attached to the controllers circuit still.

  • @ichabod13 You have to clear coat it otherwise the paint will chip off. Clear coating it prevents that. You said you thought it was too tacky; you can use Krylon Matte finish to give it the look you want and protect it.
