  • I wasn't there, but I've loved this song ever since I was a kid. It is a magical song.

    You guys were/are special.

There's never been a more magical and brave generation as you.

It is the kind of bravery we need again today.

    God bless the 60s generation.

  • Why is the sound quality so crap?

  • Thanks for posting. Well done.

  • @EydieDee Yeah, you sure are right: They were great times... except that little thing called Vietnam War... it took too many of our generation right in the middle of their prime, when those lads too ought to have enjoyed all these fantastic songs we were privileged to witness... that and the whole Zeitgeist prevailing then!

  • I was there ... I was a kid, but I remember it well. The best time ever was the late 60's - the 1970's. My friends and I always talk about how thankful we are to have lived at that time. It was beautiful. People from all races were coming together, and standing up for what was right. Soul music and Pop music was played on the same radio station, and people listened to EVERYBODY. It was a great time in the USA. Those days are long gone, but I'm glad I was a witness to them ... pure Magic!

  • @mikereida It wasn't that great, trust me. We lived with the knowledge that we could end up in Vietnam, I did. Being an unpopular war, we were called "baby burners", "murderers", and worse by the American people. Unlike the armed forces members today, we weren't considered heroes but something less than human.

  • Un dolcissimo e favoloso ricordo di quel periodo , non cè più niente da fare i migliori sono passati la semplicità della vita alla luce del sole .

  • Yeah, it was the summer of the end of Kalifornia

  • Forrest Gump brung me here (:

  • this is beautiful :)
