@EgaoNoGenki There is a Japanese version, but it's dubbed (unlike this version). If I remember correctly, the Barney voice from that does sound more like an average adult rather than cartoon-like (like in America and in most dubs of the show). That said, I still think the original Barney voice (from the US version) is the best.
Somehow, Barney's voice sounds more intelligent in this Korean version. In fact, if my kids are to ever watch any Barney, it will ONLY be in Korean (and maybe Japanese if there is such a version available.)
@theronc Well, it's an adaptation of the US series and the Barney coproductions happen to be closer to their source material than, say, Sesame Street's (where they can be as unique as they want).
