A 1997 post-Olympic interview with Dominique about building her gym, training for further competition, how she felt about falling on the vault and beam event finals, and her religion. Also portrays her at school and hanging out with her friends as a normal 10th grader. (As shown on ABC - I did not make this video, nor do I own it.)

  • 14 is just too young to go to the olympics...i think the limit should be 15 for young talents we dont wannna burn out

  • @msms68 Well, now it *is* too young... you have to be 16 for an Olympic games :)

  • was there a different age limit back then? cause it says she's 15

  • Yep, you could be 14, turning 15, back then - Dominique was actually 14 during the games, as were others such as Kerri Strug in 1992 and Nadia Comaneci in 1976. They changed the limit after this due to concerns about injuries, etc, on atheltes that were really too young.

  • haha, I had butterflies in my tummy @2:21, that was SOOOOO CUTE!!!

  • that is so sad.

  • God shes so stupid, and that coach, seems like hes really full of it- like Trump, maybe the coach should run for president

  • @mjstuffing19 I know - I was referring to the BB. Someone (it was spammed) made a mean comment about how she cost us a medal with the fall she took on beam, which made no sense since that was in Event Finals and Shannon won that gold medal. And even with her falls on vault, America had cinched the gold even before Kerri's (awesome) one-footed landing. :)

  • @laughandlove2

she did fall in tf for the vault twice.

  • @rosek102 no, her gym was sold and it is no longer a gym... not for years now in any case.6120 Louetta Rd Spring, TX is the address... it's some construction company now

  • @silivas4ever it got sold and is no longer a gym at all. The church was never built.

  • @USANieke no, 6120 Louetta Rd Spring, TX is the address. it's a construction company now
