Hard work in the fields seems left to Turkish women, as in this clip. They were very friendly and let us take pictures galore. The clip is a segment from "What the Sultan Saw", highlighting the history of Turkey & Constantinople/Istanbul, featuring the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman Empires.

These women work very hard. I was with a group of photographers who wanted to take their pictures. The women greeted us warmly and seemed pleased to receive all this attention.

I do not believe this clip from my longer video of Turkey insults the farmworkers. Perhaps the men sitting in the shade come off less well.
