The Chicago Tribune visits the storage room of the Museum of Science and Industry, which contains 40,000 rarely seen items which were once on display at this popular Midwest tourist destination.
This reminds me of a past exhibit, now closed, called "The Museum'sAttic", which showed a wonderful collection of items from the museum storeroom. I found it far more interesting to look at then the regular exhibits.
So much wonderful stuff, going to waste, not being shown to the public. I encourage the MSI to build another exhibit hall at another location and show the items from the store room!
In 1954 I along with a class of kids in the 4th grade were at the Science and Industry Museum..They had displayed a color TV set..Playing was (assumed local Chicago game)..Anyone remeber that color TV being displayed?
I love MSI!

At the 52 second mark there is an image of a tandem bicycle that seems to be designed to ride on railroad tracks! Cool!
