This video takes a look at my upcoming bicycle tour from South Korea to Portugal for raise money for Mercy Corps and their fight against hunger and malnutrition. The video features Ortlieb panniers. Visit www.theultimatetrek.com for more.
I have the Standard Older style Classic Ortliebs for the Back Carrier but I like the Idea of the two Pockets on the front of the Bags very handy. Also the Adjustable Fastener for attaching it to the Carrier on mine you have to undo the two Screw's to make it fit on a different Bike. I mostly use the Ortliebs for getting the Groceries on my Dutch Bike, so the addition of these Back Packer Bike Bags for Touring would be great when I have the Money to buy them.
@DumbDuck44 I did come to this vid to look at Ortlieb Panniers for my Sury LHT before I was sidetracked by your ridiculous comment on Planned Parenthood. So my contribution to this vid is that Ortlieb's are great and the review was insightful.
@DumbDuck44 Why do you suggest that I am blaming whites. Why do you suggest I am a supporter of communism? Because I make references to capitalism makes me pro-communism? Please, if you're going to debate, leave your prejudices at the door and keep on the subject. Either you don't know how to debate or are intentionally changing the debate's direction to avoid full-on confrontation on the subject of overpopulation.
@sombora Your typical "blame whitey" nonsense is just that, and I'd like to hear your explanation as to how communism in developed countries would address poverty in the problem nations with out of control birthrates, aids, hunger, and violence.
People are people. If I were not brought up with the values, culture, and education in which I was, I would behave no differently and suffer for it. You kids can continue to ignore the problem and send food drives, just like your great-grandma did.
@DumbDuck44 I did not argue that high birth rates does not cause increased population or poverty. Only that capitalism increased high birth rates, which, in line your argument, causes poverty. And by saying that it's pure ignorance that causes high birthrates is to suggest that you many think lowly of fellow human beings, and that you are thinking about the circumstances about such human behavior. PURE IGNORANCE is attributing "pure ignorance" to such human phenomenon.
@sombora So third world countries are impoverished because of capitalism, not because their birth rate exceeds available resources and puts a strain on their society that prevents them from making investments in the next generation necessary to better themselves... riiiight.
No nation in documented history has been able to advance economically under that high a birthrate, and the logistics of it should be self-explanatory.
High birth rates cause poverty. Its pure ignorance, nothing more.
@DumbDuck44 Because the whole world has become engulfed in the culture of capitalism, which forces everybody to work for paper money in order to survive, the poor need more children in order to make enough to eat. More children equals more help at the factory, the minefields, the cotton fields etc . . . more money. This is how it is: in 1st world countries more children equals less wealth; 3rd world countries more children equals more wealth. That is why poor people have more children.
@sombora I don't believe you understand what a eugenics program entails, and look at a global fertility map and explain to the class how reducing the insanely high reproduction rates to at least somewhere in the BALLPARK of developed countries is somehow harmful to the "lowly classes".
Why do you think that those struggling to even feed THEMSELVES should be having six to seven children each? Help me understand.
@DumbDuck44 This is a bike vid, and I hate to spoil it, but planned parenthood is really a eugenics program for the poor and lowly classes. Do the research and find out.
You can tell that these guys are novices because they have not removed the reflectors from their spokes. Ask any wheel builder.
