Meir Panim Feed 5,000 Event

The Meir Panim young leadership created the feed 5,000 event to help raise money for 5,000 young israeli children over passover. The event drew over 400 young professionals for all over the tri state area.1,651,000 Israeli' s live below the poverty line and 783,600 are young children.eir Panim is committed to provide immediate and long-term relief to the impoverished of Israel with dignity via a variety of food and social service programs.

Each day, Meir Panim's free restaurants serve 2,400 hot, nutritious meals daily in 14 distressed locations throughout Israel. In addition, thousands of packaged meals are delivered daily to needy schoolchildren, the homebound, elderly and disabled, as well as many Holocaust survivors. A network of 9 Power of Giving second-hand warehouses distribute much-needed clothing, furniture, and home appliances to the poor. Struggling parents benefit from vocational training and prepaid food shopping cards which enable them to sufficiently provide for their families. Meir Panim's youth clubs help children-at-risk and their families hope for a brighter future.
