  • I would be definitely buy the Toyota. Not that the Volt is a bad car, but the Prius has proven itself for the last 8 years.

  • @goru426 Well the Volt's throttle won't stick and take you off a cliff...

  • Volt is beter is americannnn

  • @goru426 I would definitely NOT buy the Prius!!!....it is the ugliest car that I've ever seen in my entire life!!!.....the styling of the Volt is a hundred times better looking!!!

  • He made some good points, but what makes a plug-in car a better or worse choice isn't just the price vs. electric autonomy. There are many factors to consider and my initial impression is that overall the Volt is in a segment above the Prius.

  • Why dont they mix the volt 30mi battery and the 50 mpg engine?

  • both great cars the prius is awsome on gas and has alot of great things but the volt looks so much better than the prius....i like the sport look to the car gets great power for what it is little expensive but well worth the money my wife traded her camary for a volt and we love it great car gm hit a home run on this

  • WOW this guy is professional, make good point and recommendation . Unlike his other videos Q5 vs Rx350 which a total asshole.

  • the chevy volt does not have a gas engine , its a generator

  • @alicazer 'real' electric cars' are too impractical right now. Plus even if it was practical people despise change and have to be slowly introduced to the concept, that what i think anyway

  • Plug in Hybrids = Inferior Electric cars with low mileage

If you want a real Electric car, get the Tesla Model S, it gives you 300 miles per charge 100% electric and comes with an charging cord that will give you 150 miles in just 30 minutes. Plus you can plug it in to a generator (the same generator that powers your house or your business) to plug it in to your car and it'll give you more than 100 miles and less than one gallon (depending on the generator)
