15 years old in the '70s...that was a magical time, a time when we believed that all of our dreams would come true. Watching this intro brought that feeling back for 2:00. :)

Dang, I's only 8:00 a.m. and this kid's schedule already has me exhausted.

I remember one episode when James was with a Swedish chick and they were playing "Just the way you are" by Billy Joel in the background.

I always had remembered that for some reason.

Obviously the opening segment is set in
Oregon.
Doesn't look anything like the Boston area
even the suburbs...houses are just constructed differently

I was around 13 when it aired,
and remember the hilarious "love scene" between him and Melissa Sue Anderson in the sleeping blanket, and later on when he tries to plant a kiss on Charlie's Angel Kate Jackson.

This kid was THE Stiff-meister
nearly 20 years before Hollywood's
recipe for "American Pie" showed up ;)

He was actually 17 at the time, believe it or not. A fact sheet on Lance Kerwin said that he was born in 1960.

You're right though..he looks quite young. Some people just have that in them I guess.

He was also in the "Salem's Lot" series from the 80's. He played the kid whose parents were murdered by Barlowe when he smashed their heads together.

LOL, I was totally bummed out when they changed the song. I lived for hearing it every week on the black & white TV in the simple days brother. I hear ya.
