  • Why is there so much silence about this inequity? Thankfully there are those who will not be silenced who will not put up and shut up. Because you lead we can follow. Viva!

  • Thank you for taking this on --- Health Care Reform is urgent --- not only for the poor but those who cannot afford Regular PREVENTIVE CARE

Thanks for your support and kindness

  • It is very rare when we have the opportunity to hear the voices of women of color discuss, honestly and openly, the inequities of our health care system. This courageous film, profoundly provides us that important perspective, without question! Thank You, Sonia Baez-Hernandez, for your vision and strength!!!

  • Artistic, powerful and on point! This film represents a great opportunity to use as a highly effective educational tool for ourselves, our organizations, our workplaces and our communities. The film makes it quite clear, that access to good health care, is a human rights issue that can't be ignored. We must raise our voices on behalf of the 47 millon uninsuered human beings of this nation! Let's support this film by purchasing copies as soon as it become available! Great job Sonia!

  • The trailer is poetic, beautifully filmed and very powerful with personal stories that raise important issues that have not been addressed and discussed enough. I look forward to seeing the full film. Hopefully you will have a screening in NYC soon!

    Keep Creating Sonia!

  • This is an important message that I hope all politicans and uninformed against the national health plan get to see

no one should die of illness because they can not have a basic screening

    Are you listening out there

    Well done Sonia

  • Thanks Rosie. As a minority, I know all too well about the racial and ethnic disparity that exists -- regardless of income or insurance coverage. Even yesterday, when I asked questions about the treatment regimen the doctor was surprised. I told him that this is the only life that I have and I want to have some say so about the decisions. Thank you Sonia for bringing this out in the open, because minorities deserve the same level of healthcare as whites. But is is incumbant on us to demand it.

  • Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us. Very well done, the trailer definitely makes me want to watch the full documentary.

  • Very moving. It is clearly personal yet avoids being sad. and is well documented. This is a a powerful, timely message that is professionally presented without being slick.

  • This is beautifully done Sonia! And so true-- this is the richest country and yet its citizens must work in order to get medical care... and not even good thorough care if they're not wealthy. Good work!

  • Excellent documentary! This is the kind of work that we should promote and support. The documentary shows how serious the situation is for so many Latino and poor women in the US.
