Al Hambra is taken from arabic,means "red".Muslim at that time build a beautiful art of building and masjid..

If they were so great, then why did they lose?
It is typical Islamic thought to dwell on the grandeur of the past while ignoring the squalor of the present.

Happened that the unity of the kindom was broken when it split into different smaller kindoms, way easier to take over. Plus the Spanish had help from other European christians agains the muslims.. to add a fact, the different leaders of the muslims started fighting against each other and many even asociated with the christians against their own people, so....

I really enjoyed your video. Not only did it have great footage but your provided documentary was very informative as well. Your video definitely is making me excited for my trip to Spain (I'll be studying in Granada next semester!)
