  • In the first few years of CBC Newsworld's existence, they partnered with Toronto Life magazine for Fashion File, and the Financial Post newspaper (for Businessworld).

  • No media should ever nor does it ever NEED public funding.... it is media... leave state influence out of it, let that billion or so dollars go to somewhere more useful and practical to the nation rather than to media sponsership

  • Well...they're headline news and Toronto news channels. CBC Newsworld is the only CNN-style channel in Canada, as per CRTC rules.

  • I guess it wouldn't matter later on. Not after CTV News1 and CP24 launched
