The pilot of Lois & Clark, where Lois Lane and the Daily Planet meet Superman.

Everything in this scene, from the unforgettable dialogue and the magnificent special effects are perfect and sets up the atmosphere for the series. Cat Grant's line defines the whole show. Perry's reaction is hysterical and Jimmy's ending line always bring a tear to my eye for some reason. Dean and Teri are absolutely iconic and I just can't understand how any fan of Superman couldn't love their performances throughout the whole show.

This is definitely my favourite Superman-on-TV scene, ever and probably my second favourite Superman scene ever (after the helicopter rescue in the first movie). Smallville can suck a lemon.

Sorry about the sub-par quality (Perry White's got pixels dripping off his face!). I may re-upload it in a better file-format.

  • @ffrank345 He's flying smoothly and slowly so he doesn't create a vacuum that will blow papers and stuff around the Daily Planet offices (they even explain this in later episodes).

This scene is excellent and possibly my favourite of the whole series. An entrance worthy of a king.

  • couldn't agree more with your description! I hated having to watch Clark 'loving' Lana Lang on Smallville. Lois and Clark always!

    Except Superman after Superman IV.

  • @qwuezalothus Noone needs snyder's 'help'

  • RIP LANE SMITH. YOU'LL ALWAYS BE PERRY WHITE TO ME.

  • Let's be honest: this franchise needs like air the help of Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan.

  • Too bad they didn't use more villians from the comics in the series. I say the same thing with Smallville. Glad that in both series, Lois figures out who clark is.

  • @WiccanHighPriest0

Superman is real. I've seen him many times.

  • @Supereyes27 Which is why he was replaced with Justin Whalen in the next season.

  • @leafyutube no it aint
