I assume you are against enhanced interrogations. I can also assume you were against listening to their cell phone calls, the Patriot Act and every other measure put forth to stop terrorism in the homeland after 9/11. (Cont'd)
But for the purposes of argument, let's pretend that it had gone on to read everything else: "Dear Mr. President, on 9/11/2001 there are going to be 19 Arab men who will hijack commerical aircraft and fly them into buildings."
If GWB and Rice had enacted ANY policy effective in preventing 9/11, liberals would have harpooned them just as they did on their policies AFTER 9/11. That whole argument is dishonest.
There were warnings from 13 foreign countries, 3 FBI offices, and the CIA. Italy, Germany, the UK, Egypt, and Jordan warned of attacks using airplanes as weapons. Russia warned of suicide pilots training for attacks in the USA.
Don't you see, it is a moot point when you get to the heart of our country's problem.
