Mopst times I think IO would be offended at this. me never back down-am a Christian Fundamentalist. I totally agree that Liberals have more compassion and tolerance than conservatives. But as for being mostly Atheist, it only seems that way because liberals keep their religion personal and don't insist on shoving their version of Christianity down other peoples throats.

Not always nonviolent, remember the chasing out of the moneychangers? Didn't speak English and was not American because they didn't exist. It's always been that way. Conservatives like power and religion is power. Liberals believe in the freedom of the individual, conservatives believe in the power of the state.
