You're a f -ing genius, Hey Wassup! Kudos! You're hired! 1). Who knew that a signal tracer could be used as a guitar amplifier? 2). Who knew that you could use a ham radio speaker with a guitar? 3). Who knew that the impedance of the Eico signal tracer would match the impedance of a Hallicrafters speaker? What do you do for an encore?

hey; wassup, nice setup, well lit. pity you don`t appear yourself playing that `tar. sounds good. i also have one of those. bought for less than five dollars . i notice you added a guitar jack. What are those others non standard inputs besides the three original old banana inputs on the front?? did you modificate it much??

Thank you for your kind words! I got this on eBay and the original owner had drilled a few extra holes in the front panel. I plugged all but the one I put the 1/4" jack into. I modded it quite extensively, converting it into a very old Fender Champ (5C1 circuit) except that it uses the 6K6 provided by Eico rather than the 6V6 that Fender used. The 6SJ6 preamp tube doesn't have quite enough gain to really put it into overdrive but if I put a boost pedal in front it comes alive quite nicely!
