  • The "tea party" in 2007 when they were following Ron Paul may of had some legitimacy, but now it's become a White Nationalist Party and that is undeniable! Where is the diversity at the tea party? Until it looks like America it must be viewed as what it looks like.

  • these people want government out of their lives...except when it comes to their religious beliefs.

yesof course they don't want the government to limit THEIR beliefs...but they DO want other beliefs limited, especially if they don't conform to their insane "christian" crap!

this man's statements could be challenged with every word he used.

he's even hyjacked his hate & bullshit around another flag waving name, which doesn't represent the spirit of the constitution or of mount vernon.

  • Personal responsibility? When did the GOP ever take responsibility for anything ever? Prohibition? No. Great Depression? No. Prolonging Vietnam well after it was doomed? No. Watergate? No. Reaganomics & the recession that followed? No. The disastrous "War on Terror"? No. Scooter Libby? No. Walter Reed? No. Gitmo & Abu Graib? No. Turning Clinton's era of economic presperity into another recession? No. Sarah Palin? No. So what precisely does the GOP take responsibility for?
  • CPAC is really NPAC for all the NeoCons.

REAL Conservatives want Individual LIBERTY, Personal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Federal Gov't, Sound Money, FREE Competition among FREE States & FREE people.

NPAC - STOP Foreign Intervention & U.S. Imperialism with 737 US military bases occupying 130+ nations PRODUCING debt, hatred, resistance and Jihad!

NO Isolationism (FREE Trade NOT Manipulation) & keep Corporations OUT of the taxpayers pockets by ENDING Cronyism & Corporatism.

  • Ohh snap, like no one saw this coming.

  • Of course, some might argue that Netroots Nation/Yearly Kos is the "equivalent" for the Left, but Netroots is really more of a gathering of bloggers, a few big Democratic politicians, and other liberal independent media types.

  • Why do conservatives still need something like CPAC? They've gotten so far since the 60s. Libs don't have a Liberal PAC, but they won the White House and took back Congress, didn't they? So the organization and neatness argument doesn't work. We had Clinton for 8 years. Dems were in control for 40 years starting in the 50s.

  • I read that stupid Mt. Vernon thing. It says blah blah blah blah blah blah...

  • Wait. Tea party created it self to be apart from the Conservatives. It has no set organization making it virtually leaderless. Its got liberals its got conservatives. With it being coopted by AFA and its ilk the main tea party movement is dieing fast with only a few libertarian Tea Party groups really functioning as anything other than what jah said. Now this being the case Why would they merge with the conservatives when they created a party fighting both dems and reps. CPAC is stupid.
