Ghost Reveries is the eighth full-length studio album release of Swedish progressive death metal band Opeth. It is their first album with their new record label, Roadrunner Records. This album is similar in style to Deliverance. However, it retains the atmospheric elements of Damnation with clean vocals that carry a more gothic quality than what was heard in previous efforts.

Yet not a single song on ghost reveries comes close to the intensity in Deliverance/Wreath/Master's Apprentice. I love both albums, and I am not trying to argue or be a hater. Promise.

@Hardcoresucksass It might be. Deliverance was only supposed to be a heavy record, but you still have songs like A Fair Judgement, For Absent Friends, Deliverance. Even Master's Apprentices is pretty much a mix of brutal and lush sections.

Similar in style to deliverance? Have you ever heard Deliverance?
