The other 'Rich' was probably a little bemused I'd imagine...! You're wedding reception was probably close to being held in a boat given the rain that week!

Thank you, thank you, thousand times thank you! It's such a nice present, having here these videos. I miss them soooo much...

Diolch! From a very homesick Rhondda lady. Ahhhh.... Kym
Mark,
Thank you so much for posting these videos. The Bwyd Time/Barafundle era was certainly Gorky's most inventive and experimental period and live footage from this time is very thin on the ground. Brings back some good memories of seeing them live in the mid-90s.
I'm not sure that the occupants of the terraced houses in the background would have been fully supportive of this gig 50 yards from their front doors!
Thanks again for your efforts.
Rich.

Thanks for the comment Rich! Congrats on your forthcoming wedding by the way. Would like to have come but hopefully bump into you and Kate in the Green Man Festival anyway.

so many years i haven't heard of them, are they still active? what you've posted here is a still cool & breathing song , so far from being just an archive

Whole gig is pretty good. 'Barafundle' CD came out at the same time - good album. Coincidentally, the blonde girl (Rachel Tresize) at the start hanging out with the band has recently received national acclaim as a writer! Gorky's officially split up last year though the main members Euros Childs & Richie James both played at the Green Man festival the last 2 years & probably this year too. Both released decent solo albums and Euros has recorded a BBC6 music session.
Cheers
