kyosho maiden (my first solo)

My first solo flight, the Kyosho spree sport. I refitted the motor to flat and it should have some nose down )c: It wanted to climb at about 25% throttle \c:

Ben was filming and adjusting the trim as I flew LOL great fun.
Just get it sorted and the TX battery alarm went off )c: 4 flippin batteries and I pick the duff one lol.

Take offs =1 landings 1 a good ratio so far (c:

cheers mate I wish the video showed the flight as it was a bit hairy LOL the plane just wanted to go up and feckin fast ! nevermind I'm sure there will be better vids as the father in law wants to use his camera and do some vids etc (c;

Yeah I thought the motor looked a bit odd pointing down so I straightened it up )c: and took out the down thrust... mind you my second flight tonight was a load better once it was trimmed, and I was quite please with the half loop and roll (c:

ooh by the way Ben that second last landing took off my tail wheel (c; s'ok I have a spare. I thought it look odd when you where taxiing it lol.

Well done, Hehe its all about the excitement -its what keeps us young !Shame the camera crews we employ dont practice as much as we do !!!! lol ( I will be sacking myself as my camera/editing crew if i dont start showing some improvement!!)

i couldnt get any good shots of him flyin as i was doing his trims and holding the camera at same time was more interested in making sure gary kept it one piece . this plane used to be mine its well over powered . and always wants to climb . its c of g is fine as per instructions . but it may need some nose weight to help it keep its nose down when flying fast as it just wants to climb on power. mind saying that gary being the tinkerer he is he took out the in built downthrust lol

Well the maiden went great from what we could see :-) i think your camera man could do with a few pointers though lol,if you put the trim in and she still wants to climb she could be a little tail heavy mate,if so just try moving the battery a bit more forward if you can,glad it all went well mate 5*
