We should accept Law; but not accept when it is against Natural Law. And we have the duty to contradict it when it is against the precepts of God. We didin't worship the Roman idols, nor the Emperor; we continue to be all outsiders in this world. We have Our Lord in our hearths. It reminds me of St. Thomas More: We remain King's(State, etc.) good servent, but God's first.

So why should a catholic priest be let go while the other 20 he was with be arrested?
Being a priest does not make one immune to being arrested All students/staff/administrators need permission in order to protest or set up a vigil at Notre Dame. Being a priest does not exclude one from needing that permission All he needed to do was walk across the street and protest and they would have done nothing but it was his intention to be arrested for a 2nd time in a few days

That is messed up that he got arrested

A Catholic priest, arrested at a Catholic university, for defending the unborn children in compliance with Catholic teachings. Am I the only one who sees something wrong with that picture? God bless Father Norman!

@dochoyle Actually outside of America, most Catholics are strongly against the death penalty..include JPII who was Pope then and B16 now. Italy, Spain, France, Poland, German, Ireland, Britain etc have abolished it. When Bush visited European countries such as Spain the routes were lined with protests against the use of the Death Penalty.. (Before he invaded Iraq, than they protested that too.)

He looks like he doesn't know what is going on, he looks like he has been used.
Where were they when Bush was at Notre Dame, do you know how many children have been murdered by him or don't they matter once they leave the womb..I am Pro-Life but I don't think Obama is the villian here, unless George Bush is too. He did nothing for the unborn either and murdered the born.

Indeed!
And if only the fools who voted for that scum bag would have looked into what Barack and Michelle stood for (abortion and pro gay agenda) maybe they would realize nothing good will come to America by him!

@firstrock11 Unfortunately the Bible does not support your assertion. Only God gets to choose who lives and who dies, murder is murder. Carried out in the clinics or carried out in the courts, it is still murder.

@dochoyle That is why the pro-life defend *innocent* human life (the unborn). The courts determined the 152 were *guilty* of a heinous crime after numerous (often mandatory) appeals. What guilt is on the human life that gets eviscerated and torn apart limb by limb simply because it is dependent for life support from a person who feels it is too burdensome to carry to term and give up for adoption? In another circumstance (pregnant woman murdered) the perpetrator has the guilt of 2 lives.
I do not understand why they arrested him. He was within his right to protest and it looked like a peaceful protest. They should not have arested him. This is what Obama is doing to our country we get arrested for protesting against the killing of children.
Father Norman is my hero and I'm Protestant.
