Well, in 2057 there now more advanced but the virus was gone but the kids grandfather or grandpa had an old computer from the 2000's so it still was vurnable to make viruses because they have now more advanced technology.

this is comparitive to how archaeologists are always very careful when opening old tombs because they may contain ancient viruses that didn't quite make it back when they were first introduced but may wreak havok in today's world.
