Coal produces toxic waste of every description that subsequently goes unregulated. The Massachusetts School of Law's Educational Forum presents part 2 of a Conference on Global Climate Change. The segment is hosted by Assistant Professor of law Kurt Olson with Patrick A. Parenteau, J.D., Professor of Law from the Vermont School of Law.
The Massachusetts School of Law also presents information on important current affairs to the general public in television and radio broadcasts, an intellectual journal, conferences, author appearances, blogs and books. For more information visit mslaw.edu.

@sangr3azt3ca Well usually there is wind if you have space for the windmills. And besides. They are quite tall so wind is not really a problem. And roof is for the solar panels. Way better usage whit those there then whit the windmills.
Look it this way. since windmills are high and cloudy sky-->wind moves clouds-->there is a lot of wind-->energy. Or sometimes its windy & sunny. And thats why we have batteries. They get charger while sources run. And if they dont. We have the battery :).

@justmymage what if theres no wind out side? good idea but they should put windmils on top of roof buildings but we still need coal. if we use solar energy in a cloudy day we have no power or at night times and that stuff is very expansive to. so no matter what we still need other type of power and best thing to use is coal

coal is cheapest and most of the smoke u see coming out of an energy factory is aermeant steam.not saying it's good but coal is not that bad depends how ur power plant cares about the environment. like over here they have filters that clean most of the smoke that is release. but all type of every is bad. even windmill they destroy wildlife like birds n give advantage to other birds as pray

@8213NATE Not necessarily. Whit miniaturized techonoly comes smaller power consumtion. You could change your power dealer to a eco-friendly producter. Or heck. Put a 1-2 small wind turbines on your back yard (they do give more then enough electricity to the household.)
Lets see. soon as we get fusion reactors up and runn in g we can say fuck Coal. Gas. Oil. etc and use it. Since it gives a shitton of energy whit a ridicculously small amount of helium + water.

All 3 people that care are there listening to that fool. If you don't like coal, don't use your electricity. Don't charge your cell phone don't set your alarm clock cuz it all comes from coal. To replace coal with a 'greener' source, the US would have to build 95 1,000 mega watt nuke power plants, 750 hydro-electric dams the size of the Hoover dam operating at 3 billion kilo-watts and 291,000 wind turbines. So in other words... Coal is here to stay.
