Now that school is underway here at Leominster High/Trade School, it's time for an update video on the construction, and renovation, of the original, and newer parts of the building.
The protable classrooms were completed, obviously, but from last visit, was not aware how many they really needed, as they take up nearly the entire parking lot on the Granite Street side of the building. These are in place, as they redo the 1976 portion of the high school (B and D Wings). As seen through the window, doors are being repositioned, along with other work.
As seen in the remaining structural portions of the video, the ceilings were completely ripped out do do major HVAC rework (total overhaul). On the way towards the back, we can see about half, maybe more, of the steel frame put up for the new 2-story addition.
What's not shown, are some of the parking spots that initially were taken away, to start the project, were newly reinstalled, as well as another small parking lot, still behind the fence.
@Balarick
A lot of progress tearing the place apart. Then again, if they're overhauling the HVAC, kind of necessary. :)
