I have had a number of readings myself and find them to be useless and at times misleading. I do not intend to have another. But I do recognize the reality of their abilities. @k0smon It is the skeptics who expose these frauds. My mother and sister believe in this stuff, yet when my mother went to a psychic, the charleton got EVERYTHING wrong. I asked my mother why she paid her if she had everything wrong. If I were there I'd have not paid her one red cent. And she is/was a celebrated psychic on cable access TV. She has the power to bilk innocent people out of their hard earned money.

I have yet to see any proof of true psychic powers. They simply do not exist.

@UnderManlac ::: That is an inaccurate statement that they do not exist. There are people who are satisfied that they do exist. "Beyond a shadow of a doubt" is not demanded by ordinary people, only die-hard skeptics.

@k0smon The onus of proof is not on the skeptic to disprove they exist. The task is for the claimant to provide proof of it's existence. There is no proof that god exists. I cannot prove he does not exist. I can point out a lot of things that demonstrate that he does not exist. You can point out things that you suggest that he exists.

Until proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, psychic powers do NOT exist. This means that all controls to eliminate cheating are in place and it still works.

@TheStarfox567 Demonstration is not proof. I can demonstrate psychic powers through fraud quite easily. Just look at Uri Geller, ALL of his claims are fraudulent. There are a lot of examples of faked psychic powers. However, there has never been any test that proves psychic powers exist at all.

@k0smon Demonstrating psychic powers is happening all the time. It is a demonstration, but it is done fraudulently. When tested, there have been no conclusive proof that these people have genuine psychic powers. Nobody has been able to claim the million dollar challenge, though many have tried. The tests are simple, agreed upon by both parties with controls in place to eliminate the possibility of cheating. Nobody has been able to prove psychic powers exist.
