@taddle4 - don't you think they would have edited out a couple crashes if they were tring to look cool??? The scene in Athens is a million times cooler than u can immagine. And aren't Canadians supposed to be friendly? Come to Athens hang out, skate then u won't hate.

That park is why I started skating again after 20 years. I kept driving past it, I knew it was there and finnaly I HAD to learn to skate again!!! What I like about the park is the laidback friendly atmosphere.
I have skated alot of bowls in the past year and Athens is one of the best as far as, not lumpy, or weirdly kinked sections of transition due to poorly finished concrete, it's pretty old and still holding up fairly well.

wish they didnt takeout the 5set + handrail, i get in trouble alot in athens for street skating, ALOT at the sets on campus and the 7 behind athena grand. every time i get cought its the same thing, "we have a skatepark skate there!" but its not the same, one box thats kinda sketch, one hubba thats realy haggard now, and a few even worse ledges. not saying its not a sick park that brought alot of people together, just saying that when i get in trouble in the streets, im not looking for a bowl.
