@hotstuffohyea The whole premise of the show is that Howard needs to be this asshole of a guy with no real emotions, and that tells people off, but at the same time tries to be a real person that can relate to you and I, outside the radio, that's the magic. For a lot of people that can be very confusing, like yourself, thinking he's this way all the time. It's just an act, from his part, but the rest of the people working for him can't act it up, so Howard is the show, Robin dies and it goes on.

Was Belzer ever funny? He still pulls out his one-word ("Well...") Reagan impersonation as if its funny, hard to do or relevant. I never thought he was the least bit funny and he actually seems uncomfortable when he tries to be. He's anti-funny.
