Here are some mods that I did on the vamp. It now has better control and turns tighter. I have yet to fly it outside as it is far too windy and rainy today :(
****Update: the next day I flew it outside: I didn't like these mods for outdoor flying. I kept the enlarged wings and the angle change on the tail. I got it really high and then cut the throttle....it glides really nicely and you still have directional control. It was attacked by a crow, I avoided him ;) I will try to catch this on video!!

  • does it have up down control or does it pick height when you accelerate and loose it when you decelerate ?

  • It picks it up with acceleration and loses it when you decelerate. It does glide when you cut the power and you can still steer it. I've had it attacked by birds....it's cool!! Make sure to do the tail mod and balance your wings.

  • when he says "use the black rods to make it go straight across" referring to the extension of the direction stabilizer control, I don't really get how exactly did he attached those too together. I tried crazy glue and it's really not effective

  • best way i can describe is a motor drives a small gear that drives a much larger gear that has pivoting rod connected a one piont on the edge of the large gear. Makes the same motion a piston connected to a craskshaft makes. That up and down motion is connected to a central pivot-piont that secured on either side with a solid rod between the two. That up an down motion is what drives the wings up and cycle down in sequence. It is very simple and common design i believe

  • hey can you please tell me how that flapping works what kind a machine is there doing that flying effect please tell me propably stupid gueston but if you know please tell me and thanks for the vid 5 stars
