when he says "use the black rods to make it go straight across" referring to the extension of the direction stabilizer control, I don't really get how exactly did he attached those too together. I tried crazy glue and it's really not effective

best way i can describe is a motor drives a small gear that drives a much larger gear that has pivoting rod connected a one piont on the edge of the large gear. Makes the same motion a piston connected to a craskshaft makes. That up and down motion is connected to a central pivot-piont that secured on either side with a solid rod between the two. That up an down motion is what drives the wings up and cycle down in sequence. It is very simple and common design i believe

Looks like alot of fun.
does it have up down control or does it pick height when you accelerate and loose it when you decelerate ?

It picks it up with acceleration and loses it when you decelerate. It does glide when you cut the power and you can still steer it. I've had it attacked by birds....it's cool!! Make sure to do the tail mod and balance your wings.
