I understand that this applies mostly to corporate businesses but my question relates to being a leader in College classroom activities. I know from the few times I was allowed to be a leader that I am a damn good one. My trouble lies in establishing yourself as a leader. In my experience, the people who are loud and create a barely convincing image that they know what they are doing always feel entitled to be the group leader. How can one establish a leadership role?
@chrissimples yeah apparently for Jack Welch it wasn't his primary concern. He was more concerned with having the top workers and firing the rest. This type of management seems ruthless but it worked in his situation as his company flourished. He was a great leader for the investors of the company, and that is the primary purpose of the company to increase profits for shareholders. This is exactly what Welch has done so how can we state that breaking trust is a leader's biggest mistake.

Because some leaders act not a leader. Umaarti silang boss, sobrang bossy, ayaw makinig sa iba, they want their ideas will pursue.
