The 1988 British film also stars Sir Anthony Hopkins, Patsy Kensit, Richard Briers and Prunella Scales. It was directed by Jenny's then-boyfriend, Michael Winner.
It tells the story of Guy Jones (played by Jeremy Irons), a recently-widowed man new to a small British sea-side town who joins an amateur theatre company. Once there, he discovers that the drama on the stage is quite often nothing when compared to what's happening behind the scenes: seduction, romance, faction fighting, and the inevitable jealousy.
Jenny Seagrove plays the part of Fay Hubbard, a married, sex-mad seductress who can't resist jumping on Jeremy Irons.

In this scene, Guy enjoys a drink with Fay in her living-room under the false impression that he is the first guest to have arrived for a social get-together at the Hubbard household. What Guy has failed to realise is that he has actually been invited to a very private partner-swapping party. Fay wastes no time in making her move on him.
