In the real-life rendition of the Akira movie, they're not going to use clowns.
They're going to use Juggalos.
And they're going to be the main cast.

This looks like the 2nd english dubbed version, said to be more accurate to the original Japanese. But I like the original dubbed because of the better voice actors they used.

I'll take the original dub anyday. I had it on VHS, but when I bought the DVD the voice acting was different. I heard there was a version with both versions of the dub but don't know if its true or not.
The voice acting, if not the accuracy, was far superior on the original dub IMO.

Is there a part in the movie where Tetsuo blows up one of the clown gang member's heads, or was that only in the manga?

Without too man spoilers, there is a part where he kills on of teh gang members, but I can't for the life of me remember how. I'll have to find 3 hours to sit through this movie again sometime. :)
