Looks good but F-Zero X is still my favorite racing game on the N64.

I liked the n64 as a console but found it a shame that the racing titles were generally pretty poor. In fact they released many poor games but when they got it right they produced pure gold eg: All the THQ wrestling games, pretty much anything with mario, Zelda, (I know its obvious an cliched) goldeneye and perfect dark.

@kujiko88 Both where great consoles - though I disagree on the view distance. The n64 simply had no big devs working on 'realistic' racers - it had too much family gaming going on. Arcade games such as Rush 2049, Ridge Racer 64, and the F1 games on the n64 featured much longer draw distances and higher resolution over their playstation counterparts.

There was only one thing I didn't like about the N64. That was the limited view range, in which PS1 was bad too, but not quite as bad as the N64. Still both are great consloes and I love em both hehehe.

well we could also say something about ps1's blocky textures, long loading times, disc reading errors and many shitty games, now could we?

n64 is a great retro console with classics like mario 64, zelda ocarina of time and goldeneye 007 that will always be fun games and a inspiration for game developers.
