@importssuckazz if what ive read is right if you can get it up to 200hp area you need an aftermarket bottom end to handle the power you might see 250 to 300hp on a really good build is what im guessing but i would save the flat head for someone building an old school car or into nostalgia drag racing and stuff but mctim64 really cool video and any real car lover will like it i know i did

Thank you for posting this video.I've wondered how the valves worked in a flat head but never saw one that wasn't already put together.
are the flat head v8s more powerfull then the big block 460 from the mid 70s im rebuilding a 76 thunderbird and i thought it whould be cool to have a flat head in it

do you mind telling me what is the shop manual in this video. I'm starting to work on a 1933 v8 and need a good all around service book ...needs to include good wiring diagrams timing ect. thanks paxton
