I really like ballet, but what happened to the background? In most ballets they have backgrounds and different costumes. The dancing itself was jerky and not particularly well thought out. Disappointing at best compared by other Russian or American standards.

Im definitely agree with your opinion about that horrible performance on the video!

BUT, acyually, it was not a Ballet performance indeed.The file is from Japanese serial TV drama. Its a last part of final episode from the show called "Pri-madam". The title is typical Japanese styled compound word after "Prima(donna)" & "Madam".

The show "Primadam" is a...say... a mixture of Soap Opera and something traditional style sports related underdog stories like "The Bad News Bears" ,and have little bit similarity with "Stepping Out" or such kind of stories. The Heroine is middle aged housewife. Once she tried to be a prima ballerina in her childhood, but she gave up her dream cuz of quite typical causes such a kind of which we could see in a bunch of cheap dramas....

BY THE WAY, one day, she happened to meet with small Ballet class in the little town,and met many of pals who each one having their causes of their own, and...bra bra bra.... I think you could easly imagine what kind of story the show contains. After their hard trying and struggle, finally they made their little performance act.

The performance you've watched is the very last scene of whole the show. I know that performance is FAR from good, but it was just a recreation of loosers. Anyway, the show itself is ABSOLUTELY SILLY ! But many of my friends missed the final episode, and wanted to watch it. So I was upload the files here.Im REALLY SORRY about horrible dance. ;-)

BTW, in that show, the role of Ballet class teacher was performed by Juu-itchi Kobayashi, who is former famous dancer/assistant of BEJART Ballet Lausanne (BBL),and also known as principal of ASB (American School of Ballet ?) student in his training days. You could find him at curtain call scene.

エンディングに、倉橋嵐子を演じた中森明菜さんがいないのがさび­しい。

ここで、明菜がエンディング曲の『花よ踊れ』をビジュアルで歌っ­ていたら、きっと最高のドラマのエンディングになっていたはずで­す。

黒木さんの舞台でのダンスを何度か見たことがありますが、もっと­上手でした。。プリマダムでは素人主婦が下手なりに頑張っている­姿を演じてみたんだと思います。が、でもこのドラマしか見ない人­もいるから、最後はもうちょっと上手に踊っても良かったですよね­。。。

黒木メイサもそうだけど・・単に綺麗っていうレベルじゃ、バレエ­は見るに堪えない。

映像にしちゃだめ。そもそも日本では、映像に残せる程のバレリー­ナはプロでもあまりいないのだから。

かろうじで、ブラックスワンは大丈夫かな・・・でも踊っている時­はプロ？それでも、アップになった途端、興ざめ。

黒木は松島トモコより下手なんだね。松島トモコは3歳からバレエ­やってたことだけあるわ。

黒木、手が飛行機みたいだし音感がないみたい。うのが出すぎずプ­ロに徹してたのが良かった。東京バレエ団のソリストよりうまい。­フランスのバレエ団に合格したというのも納得。
