A talent like this pops up only once in a blue moon. Let us all enjoy her whilst we have the opportunity.

@hermitcrabbot You are so correct, they have been most rude to this amazing young girl, the youngest to ever have a platinum album, her own pbs special and her latest dream with me cd was one of the top sellers of 2011. Even David Foster was chumped out for producing her amazing talents.

@cureloms I fear I'd be jealous, like the sibling in "The Bodyguard".

@bb4aa "Someday," "Mi Mancherai," "The Impossible Dream," and "A Time For Us."
On another CD, there's a bonus of "Danny Boy".

@bparno I've no doubt Foster enjoys Jackie's talent for its own sake, not so much for the money. I don't like seeing people who don't share Jackie's values exploiting her for political gain. But that's ultimately up to her parents.

@adventist123 She's affiliated with a pro-life religion proud to sing to a pro-abortion president. You tell me.

@KaptKan1 Well, to keep things honest, David Foster asked her to make of list of things she'd like to see happen. Then a lyricist was brought in to put it into lyrics, and Foster wrote the melody. So, yes, she technically "co-wrote" the song. The late great Vassar Clements (a friend of mine) gave his wife, Millie, co-writing credit on all his compositions, for one similar technical reason: she inspired him ever since he met her and she married him.

@innismor11 Or her mom and her fashion consultant.

@SeriousBlack77 If you want to see how a girl's voice can change from age 12 to age 18, look at the YouTube videos of Nikki Yanofsky.

@hermitcrabbot I used to be a Grammy voter (my ex-girlfriend was an established songwriter and member of NARAS and ASCAP but conceded she knew nothing about classical so she handed the ballot to me.) Then when Jethro Tull won Best Heavy Metal band, and Starlight Vocal band won best new artist over Springsteen, and dozens of other atrocities, that was enough for me.
past 5:50 you can see the violinist tapping their bow on their instruments and that's the highest honor a musician can give to the entertainer they are playing for.. You dont see that very often and a musician really has to be moved by the entertainer to give such accolades.

I agree, i picked up the end on a TV interview which very short clips of her singing. I could not believe it, so i searched and found her on "America's Got Talent". I still cannot believe, after listening to all her performances, that such a little girl can produce such an incredible voice and control. It is hard to find an equal with her adult contemporaries.
