@Lovinlondon1 Rushanara is not the problem. She is a very smart person who understands local issues. The problem is New Labour.
How can we vote Labour again?? They are in the hands of powerful lobby groups that represent the interest of big business. They no longer stand for the everyday working people of this country.
I will vote RESPECT.

The level of inequality has increased under New Labour. Soft regulation of the banks and the financial system has created a gulf between the haves and the have nots. Wealthier financiers from the city are buying up 2nd and 3rd homes in our community and pushing up the prices so everyday working people that have been born and raised in this borough can no longer afford a flat here. New Labour is a joke!

YEA RUSHANARA! She clearly has a grasp on the local issues and wants to make this into a better place to live and work. Especially on housing, I think she's bang on about how important it is for bringing together the community and keeping it together, and also finding a place for new people coming in. She clearly knows Bethnal Green and Bow intimately and wants to stand up for policies that will genuinely help us.

Rushanara has a real understanding of the complex issues in the East End with a truly excellent track record of delivery through her voluntary and charity work already. I look forward to being able to vote for the first time in a general election and my X will be for the candidate best placed to deliver for the whole of the community - and Rushanara is that person.

She'll be getting my vote. It's refreshing to hear such a reasoned and intelligent politician. She'll clearly setting a higher standard for MPs in the next parliament.
