not to make u fell like shit and go kill urself but i kno the problem... its the memory card and if, by some cosmic impossibility, im wrong then its the controller just change one of those or both and it would have worked perfectly sry to shut the barn door after the horse got out but i had no idea u would destroy it ;/

Yeah, I doubt it was the controller. The thing wouldn't start. I'd hit the power button and the light would blink green (not orange or red) but nothing would ever happen beyond that. I couldn't get the disk tray to open without using a paper clip and the manual eject button.
