Someone stole a Canyons School District bus early Thursday morning and led police on a high-speed chase from Interstate 15 and 9000 South in Sandy to Salt Lake City. The bus struck two vehicles, including a police car. Officers ended the chase when the bus began to run red lights in heavily populated areas. The bus was found a short time later, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
