Have you tried Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (Datassette Remix), guys? Keeps the spirit of the original. And Kate Bush did not shit in her pants while singing.

Oh no,..this is far too slow,and empty. Kate's version is impeccable. Still,listening to this,as I type,..there IS something in that voice.I plan to listen to more by Placebo.

@curdey she is an 80s artist, one of the worst times for music, thats why its hard to beleive there is a decenet songwriter from that time

@curdey I didn't know about her until Placebo covered this, and didn't know that Placebo covered this till I heard the song on NCIS LA. I listened to both versions and I love both of them. It's like comparing Heath Ledger's joker to Jack Nicholson's. Both are completely different styles, but completely awesome. I will be checking out more of Kate Bush's stuff though :)

Dunno, but Kate's choreography is both artistic and honest in regards to the complexity of human sexuality, and I don't mean that in a crude way.
