The battery issue can be solved with TaskPanel which enable u to turnoff useless apps draining ur battery (mine survives at least 3 days now without too much usage). As for boosting mediascape's sound I am sorry I haven't found any solution so far. U might as well listen to music on x10 without hands free for louder music - but that would suck even more, wouldn't it?

I traded in my iPhone 3G for x10. At 1st I was disappointed with it but gradually fell in love with it. It is an amazing machine 2 watch videos on. But I found two flaws in it. So those wanting to buy x10 be attentive: i) Most of u may face battery issues. Some preinstalled softwares completely drain out the battery in abt 10 hrs. ii) The mediascape's audio is no match for iphone's ipod. It simply sucks for those who like loud & clear music with bass. & their is no music equalizer either.
