About 12 ounces of aluminum oxide polish, used in polishing rocks, in 2 quarts of water. Setting occurs over 1 hour - a 2 minute video. This is why you never, ever pour this stuff down a drain.
The Food and Drug Administration includes aluminum in it's Generally Regarded As Safe classification. I wouldn't ingest any but I do use it as a polishing compound. The point of this video is that it settles out of water very quickly. In household plumbing, this can form a clog that would likely lead to replacing the clogged section. I recycle the polish - saves money, reduces waste.
