This was pretty dang good. As a couple other people said though, some of the clips here are much, much better than others.
The scenes of the car explosion and the giant people are great. The pure 3D work of the fighter plane and sub (unless you specifically have a quota of 3D work that needs to be in there) doesn't hold a candle to the composite special effects and doesn't seem to fit.

You've got some really good looking stuff in there but you also have a few weaker shots you should take out. The ending shot is just a VCP tutorial which doesn't show your skills at all. I say cut this reel down to just about a minute (which is all HR has patience for anyways) and you'll be golden. That red mountain/city matte painting was awesome. I'd love to see a breakdown of that.
