Dreams and Tension (original)

My new little piano sketch. Started it at the beginning of the week. I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out. Tried to contrast the vacant sounding opening with the more dense little inner sequences, though I don't really start out with a plan for these things, i just get a few little ideas and then find ways of putting them together. The title is one of the first things that came to mind when i played it through in full, it's not great but it's not the title that matters. On another note, there's been a short delay in the uploading of transcriptions, i have a few ready to go but it might be a couple of weeks before they are actually up on the site. I very much intended it to repeat itself, gives it a sense of having a beginning middle and end, plus i like the idea of having a simple idea and developing on that.

I just glimpsed at the title of the video and while I was looking for a book in my room and listening to the music I wondered what composer had written the brilliant music you were playing. I was amazed to read this was your original composition. It's great, you should invest in some audio equipment and sell your music on iTunes or something.
