Hulde aan de kastelein from heidevolk with english subtitles.

about the last line "We thank him with all our heart and no one ever"- It probably doesnt make sense, but sentence structure isn't the same in every language, so get over it. And I'm pretty sure it should mean "we thank him with our hearts more than anyone", or something along those lines

and its a rough translation i don't speak dutch

  • he removes one of the horn, thats not correct :P in dutch its 'en voor hem heft men de hoorn', wich means to him they raise the horn ( they raise there horn for the guy who gives them beer)

  • thanks, i changed it

  • I thought "Eert hem" meant "Honor Him"

  • as i said in the description, i don't speak dutch, but i'll change it, just for you

  • duitse ondertiteld zou niet slecht (sorry voor meijn slechte nederlands)

  • Ik spreek geen Duits, maar misschien zal ik proberen

  • Impressive translation for someone who isn't Dutch ^^

  • we thank him with our whole heart like no one else before , zou iets beter al zijn denk ik :)

  • Goh heb wel trek in n biertje (Y)

  • @metallicrules You did a fine job translating it for someone who cant speak dutch.

  • @kubus12344 this is dutch.

  • esta de toque do meu celular ;D

  • ze co?

  • Das ist alte Deutsch, oder 'normal' Deutsch?

  • 'Hij tapt ons onze biertjes van vroeg tot heel erg laat ...'

'He taps us our pints from early till really late.'

    (So he's everybody's best friend!)

The fine Eastern Dutch humor in this text cannot be expressed in English. Heidevolk just makes you smile all the time. Love them!

  • I just can't get enough of this song!
