Ah Nerede-Seni Seviyorum

A beautiful scene from a Turkish film called 'Ah Nerede' (Oh, Where Is it) made in 1975. It stars two well known actors in Turkey of that time, Tarik Akan and Gulsen Bubikoglu. I have selected this one scene and added/edited the music from my personal collection; to try and create a gentle short love story from this one scene alone. Turkish films of this period made great use of French easy listening music in the soundtracks; in particular, Franck Pourcel and Paul Mauriat; and also film music from France and Italy; by artists Francis Lai and Stelvio Cipriani. The original scene can also be found on YouTube and contains a beautiful theme by Philippe Sarde called 'Martini Dry' from the 1973 film 'La Valise'.'Seni Seviyorum' is Turkish for 'I Love You'. Just to be clear, I have edited the music over this piece of film. The first piece is 'Par Le Sang Des Autres' by Francis Lai, 1973. I have merged this with two versions of that theme. It was used in the original soundtrack in this film. The second piece is 'Une Fille Aux Yeux Clairs'( A Girl With Clear Eyes) by Michel Sardou, this version I've used is by Caravelli, 1975. I added this over the original theme used on this sequence-I'm not trying to make 'a better version'; nothing can replace the original. I just felt this song works well also; and creates a story-like feel to this particular scene. The original scene has been posted by a few people, search 'Ah Nerede'.

Hello:)Thank You for your comment! I can understand You, I have looked for that theme too, it is very special but still I cannot find it. With this video I am not trying to replace the original; I just wanted to create a story with this music as well.
