I took this video in HD. It's my 1983 CX650C. It was a complete frame up rebuild. See the complete write up on BikerFlorida.com at http://bikerflorida.com/forum/index.php/topic,131.0.html

  • Those Emgo pipes have baffles in them, plus there still is the center collector baffle. But, yes I went up two sizes on the main jet.

  • Sure go ahead. It is in the same condition as the video? How much did you pay for it? Are you in Florida? There's a thread on bikerflorida-dot-com about the bike.

  • Those are mean looking tires on that bike. Where did you pick them up at and who makes them? Also what size? They would look good on my cx650c

  • They are Cheng Shin Barracuda. Stock size.

  • Consider painting the front engine hangers the same color as the heads/frame. It would complement the lines of the painted frame begind the engine.

  • It's funny that you would say that because they were originally supposed to be the same color red. But, the powder coater messed it up and the color was off. I had to paint them black.

  • Nice restoration and customization. If you need new seat upholstery, Saddlemen's makes a very nice-looking new upholstery that is much better than the original. What EMGO pipes did you use and what mods were needed to fit them in place of the OEM ones? The '83 CX650C was one of the best bikes Honda ever made in terms of character, distinctive looks, riding position, and general enjoyability. Not a bad performer either...lots of low-end torque and 70hp output not bad for a 650.

  • hey i have a cx650 also..did you have to rejet it when you put on straight pipes? im looking to do the same to mine

  • bet your neighbors were pissed

  • beautiful lovethe bike man congrats
