I think assassinate is the correct term for killing someone overseas using a drone strike. Execution implies that the subject is taken into custody before being killed.

I wish there were links to the senators/congressmen's websites of all 50 states at the end of these blood-boiling vids so that I could more quickly write an angry e-letter to my representative lawmaker.

@SmaragdineSage oh, I just thought they want to have control to do what's necessary to "protect" the country or remain in power. anything that poses as a threat they would like to get a handle on it, and this will allow them to exert that kind of power for better or worst. imho.
